If the painting is a window open to the world, it is also a door ajar onto ourselves… The « Ok(n)o » series plays on resemblances between the Polish word « okno » – « a window » and « oko ». – « an eye « . The window activates our ability to perceive the images in abstract forms, giving a meaning to the chaos. It is a kind of « metaphysical lens » which, just like the human being, has the capacity to embody the world through oneself, intensifying it in the way. On the border between inside and outside, the window is a symbol of rebirth.

Si le tableau est une fenêtre ouverte sur le monde, il est aussi une porte entrebâillée sur nous-mêmes… La série « Ok(n)o » joue sur des ressemblances entre le mot polonais « okno » – « fenêtre » et « oko » – «oeil ». Car la fenêtre active notre capacité à voir des images dans des formes abstraites, donnant du sens au chaos. Elle est une sorte de « lentille métaphysique » qui, tout comme l’être humain, a une capacité d’incarner le monde à travers soi, en l’intensifiant. A la frontière entre dedans et dehors, la « fe-naître » est un symbole de renaissance.
